Webkinz Extravaganza May 1-3

We are working hard and rolling out our Wheel of Wow in preparation for another fun-filled Webkinz Extravaganza Weekend!

Spend $15 (pre-tax) in our store Friday, May 1st through Sunday, May 3rd and you will be able to purchase a Webkinz from our special selection for only $1! (While supplies last.)  This year, the extravaganza Webkinz must be registered online by May 31st, 2009; the code on the tag will expire after that.

We have special events and contests (not to mention tons of great prizes) going on all three days, here are the details:

Wheel of Wow

The kids keep asking us when the Wheel of Wow will be back and the answer is NOW!  During special times throughout the weekend come on in and spin the wheel for a prize!

Gem Hunt & Food Drive

Bring in a donation of canned or dry goods for our food drive and You will be able to Hunt Gems for a variety of great prizes!

Jellybean Contest

We will have a different Jellybean Contest for each day of the Extravaganza.  Guess the number of Jellybeans in our jar, and the top 3 winners of each day get a free Extravaganza Webkinz!

Webkinz Extravaganza was our biggest and most exciting event of 2008, don’t miss out on the fun and special savings this year!  We will be open 10-7 on Friday, 10-6 on Saturday, and 11-5 on Sunday.  We hope to see you all here with smiling faces, free prizes and $1 Webkinz!

Did you know that Early Work Toy Station is Pet Friendly? Some of you might even remember our store cat, Kibby, who is now retired and living with store owner, Linda. We have had so many doggy visitors this past week that we decided to dedicate a blog entry just to them. Of course, we’ve had to promise Kibby that he can start blogging soon, as well!

We even have dog treats for our visiting doggy friends, courtesy of Our Best Friends pet and people shop in Petaluma. Our good friend, Stephanie Hartman owns this wonderful pet-centric gift shop at 2nd and E Streets in Petaluma. If you need a gift for your four-legged friend or a two-legged animal lover this is the place for you. Of course, we couldn’t blog about pets without mentioning some of our own! So we’ll end this blog entry with pictures of some of the Early Work staff’s pets. In case you couldn’t tell, dogs like the sturdy new Melissa and Doug Shopping Cart almost as much as the kids do!
